The basic plot and how the comic works There is some sort
of straightforward plot to Automatic Freestyle. Basically it follows a
small group of characters throughout their lives in a series of flashbacks.
This is when it gets a bit complex because the story constantly jumps
back and forward in time and space. Although the characters are in some
way based on real people and that most of the plots come from truth, it’s
not exactly a serious comic, as you will see. 1) Comic title – The title of the overall comic. 2) Writer/Artist – The name of the writer and artist. 3) Year – Whenever a flashback/forward transpires, a box will appear with the year in which the event occurred. The box mostly appears in the top left but can sometimes appear in the right corner. If there is no year box then this means it’s a continuation from the previous comic. For example, here the current scene took place in 2003.
